2 Thess 2:4 Do you think the temple will be rebuilt before the rapture? One book I read suggested that the temple is the same as the church and that the man of sin would come out of the church. Should we be looking for the Jews to rebuild the temple?

I personally believe that in context with this scripture that this is speaking of the restored Jewish temple. However, one must recognize, as Van kampen pointed out, that this restored temple does not necessarily have to be a premanent structure. Circumstances could provide for a temple like the tabernacle in the wilderness of the Children of Israel. In any case, as the end-times scenario begins to unfold the temple could quickly become a reality.
