Questions about specific scriptures

1 Cor 15:51-52 says that we shall all be changed in a moment, whether living or dead, all changed at the same time. While 1 Thess 4:16-17 says that the dead in Christ will rise first, then the remaining believers will be caught up together with them.

Yes, 1 Cor 15:51-52 does say that we will all be changed in a moment - but it does not say that we will all be changed in the SAME moment.  I believe this passage is explaining what will happen to each believer when we are raptured, or resurrected.  We WILL be changed in a moment of time.  However, according to 1 Thess 4:16-17, the dead in Christ WILL rise first.  So, the dead in Christ will be changed in a moment and then the living will be changed in a moment also.  It is also possible that the dead in Christ will be resurrected and then the remaining believers raptured and as we meet together we will all be changed in the same moment.  However it happens, I do not see a contradiction here.
