Questions about specific scriptures
ID #1037
There are several scriptures (Rev. 18) saying Babylon will 'fall' and be destroyed, causing shock around the world. Does this mean the actual city of Babylon must be rebuilt before the Last Days? Or can it refer to the replaced Babylon of Dubai? It isn't just figurative, is it?
This is a difficult question. There are those who believe that this refers to the literal city of Babylon, some think it could refer to Jerusalem. It could very likely refer to something that we know nothing of yet - a future place of prominence that has yet to be. It is described in such detail that I do believe that it is a literal place. At this point in time, the scripture is just not clear and no one can be dogmatic about it.

- You have Jesus walking with the Jewish remnant when they come back to the city but how does he get there if he is with the Saints in Heaven? I am assuming that in the rapture he goes back to heaven with the saints. If he comes down again isn't that a separate rapture for the Jews or are they not raptured with the rest of the saints?
